스마트폰 소액결제는 당월 이용한 결제 금액이 모바일 요금으로 빠져나가는 구조다. 결제월과 취소월이 같은 경우 모바일 요금에서 미청구되고 승인 취소가 가능하다. 허나 결제월과 취소월이 다를 경우에는 핸드폰 요금에서 이미 출금됐기 덕에 승인 취소가 불가하다.
이은희 인하대 구매자학과 교수는 “구글 동일한 글로벌 온/오프라인 산업자도 매출에만 신경쓰지, 문제가 발생했을 때 무난한 대처를 하지 않는 경우가 적지 않다”면서 “구글 소액결제 사례가 많아지고 있을 것이다면 구글이 최고로 제일 먼저 할 일은 이런 일이 또 생성하지 않게 조치를 취하는 것”이라고 말했다.
<p>A씨는 지난해 10월 13일 통영 한 거리에서 80대 피해자가 작업대출을 위해 전00씨의 동생에게 소액결제를 하게 하는 등 약 880만 원에 이르는 빚을 생성시키자 김00씨와 같이 금액을 받기 위해 주먹 등으로 수차례 폭행한 혐의 등으로 기소됐다.</p>
